At BASIS Curriculum Schools, curious students and passionate teachers outperform not just the schools in New York City and New York State, but schools all over the world in math, reading, and science.
We are excited to host a special event on Saturday, October 20, 2018 to introduce our prospective families to BASIS Independent Brooklyn leadership, faculty, and staff, and to tour our beautiful campus.
The event will run in two sessions:
- If you are interested in PreK–grade 4, you will attend from 9:00–11:00 AM
- If you are interested in grades 5–12, you will attend from 12:30–2:30 PM
If you have students that span these ages, you are welcome to register for and attend both sessions.
Head of School Hadley Ruggles will provide an introduction to the BASIS Curriculum as well as our school's philosophy, mission, and more. Teaching faculty will be available to meet and greet families and demonstrate their classroom vision.
Our Open House is an excellent opportunity for prospective families to learn more about our program, meet our exceptional faculty, and experience firsthand what makes our classrooms a dynamic, engaging, and content-rich environment for high-level learning. Faculty will be discussing the following curricular items:
- Fine Arts
- Senior Project
- College Placement
- Student Support
- And much more!
Families will also be able to speak with enrolled students and parents.
Fill out the form on the right to register for this event. We highly encourage students applying for grades 2 and above attend the event with their parents!
The application is open for the 2019–20 academic year. Learn more about our Admissions process here.
