About BASIS Independent Fremont:

  • In response to the growing demand for our program and for a facility to serve our upper grades, we are pleased to share that this coming fall 2019, we will open a new, second campus that will serve grades 6–8. Our goal is to grow the school one grade level per year, starting with grade 8.
  • Home to the globally benchmarked BASIS Curriculum, a STEM-focused liberal arts program designed to inspire mastery and excellence in our students as they learn at the highest international levels. 
  • Our teachers are passionate educators with proven subject expertise who make learning an engaged and joyful endeavor. 
  • We offer 39 clubs and sports to help students discover new passions, participate in diverse activities, and build social skills outside of the classroom environment.

Tour our campus:

Tours are the best way for families to experience the spark inside our classrooms and to observe our program in action! On a tour, you will: 
  • Explore our beautiful facilities, from our gymnasium and classrooms to our outdoor play space and planter garden. 
  • Learn about our nationally recognized curriculum, the grade levels that interest you, our elective and extracurricular offerings, and more.
  • Engage with and ask  questions of our well-informed staff. 
  • Witness our vibrant community of learners and teachers firsthand, and discover what makes BASIS Independent Fremont stand out. 


How to schedule a tour:

  • Tours are offered by appointment, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM, and last anywhere from half an hour to an hour depending on the questions you may have.
  • Please select a date and fill out the registration form, and an admissions representative will be in contact with you soon afterward with available times.
  • Please plan on arriving 5–10 minutes early, and bring your I.D. to our front office to check in.
