BASIS Independent Online

BASIS Independent Online (BIO) is a distance learning option available for the upcoming school year (2020-21), for families of students in grades 2-8 (only) who find themselves unable to attend a BASIS Curriculum School in person.
Students will have access to the nationally acclaimed and internationally recognized BASIS Curriculum, as well as the opportunity to engage with our world-class Subject Expert Teachers.
Families can expect the same approach of academic excellence for which are six schools are well known.

Live Classes: Held daily between the hours of 8:00 AM–12:45 PM (Pacific) and 11:00 AM–3:45 PM (Eastern). Classes will refer to the recorded lectures and provide an opportunity to practice skills and engage with material in an interactive environment.
Recorded Lectures: Available to students to watch at their own time and return to as references. Teachers will also reference them.
Student Hours: Held throughout the week and will be an opportunity for students to have specific questions addressed. Student Hours will be held between the hours of 1:00 PM-1:45 PM (Pacific) and 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM (Eastern)
Students will have four types of classes in each subject in grades 2 through 4.
Students will have a daily “Morning Meeting”.
Students who successfully complete the program have an opportunity to re-enroll into their respective brick & mortar campus for the 2021–22 school year.
